Access Control Panel The brains of the access system, the panel is hidden, and provides a point of contact between each reader/keypad reader.

Reader The reader is the device that allows or refuses entry. Tthe door will not open if the person not registered to enter the passageway. The control panel logs the attempt and notifies the security personnel. Readers are available for use with cards, keyfobs, fingerprint, and secret code.

Keypad. Uses a secret code instead of cards, keyfobs, or fingerprints.

Fingerprint Reader. Uses a fingerprint can to allow or deny entrance to an area. |

Access Card and Keyfob. Possessed by persons registered to enter the building by transfering data to the readers. Many varieties of cards and keyfobs are available.

Photo ID Printer. Allows security personnel to assign ID badges to employes.
